About the Conference
The Niche Mommy Conference began first as a community to collaborate moms from Latino, African-American, Caucasian, and other diverse and multicultural backgrounds. The idea grew from a community of moms to planning a full-scale social media conference that recognizes the influence and consumer buying power of diverse moms that blog. The inaugural Niche Mommy Conference will take place in New Orleans, August 23-26, 2012. Bloggers from all over the U.S. will gather together at the beautiful Roosevelt New Orleans Hotel, a Waldorf Astoria collection.

The Agenda
The agenda includes a stellar line up of keynote speakers who have appeared or been featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Essence, CNN.com, The New York Daily News, USA Today, Good Housekeeping, among other national publications. The conference features a workshop-style agenda featuring live Social Fabric® University courses presented by Collective Bias. Workshops will include everything from enhancing photography skills, to practicing your media pitch. Sessions will also address best practices for working with brands, how women and moms have and can influence the 2012 election, the pursuit to achieve work-life balance, and how to build your social net worth through social media and blogging.
